Utica Man Pleads Guilty To Three Bank Robberies
A Utica man has pleaded guilty to three counts of bank robbery in U.S District Court in Albany.
50-year old Calvin Moore was charged with robbing the Adirondack Bank in Utica in November 2014, along with a Key Bank branch in Schenectady and a bank in South Carolina.
Authorities say during the Adirondack Bank robbery, Moore handed the teller a note which read "This is a robbery. I have a gun and I'll shoot if you try anything. Put all the loose bills in the bag (every denomination), no dye pack or tracers or I will shoot."
He made off with $1,647.
Moore faces up to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced in February.
