Utica Man Punches, Threatens Girlfriend After Searching For Drugs

A domestic dispute call to Utica Police resulted in the arrest of a Utica man.

Yesterday evening at around 5:30, officers responded to a home on Plant Street after being told by a woman that her boyfriend, Wayne Daniels, 49, of Elm Street, came to her home allegedly looking for drugs.

Daniels' girlfriend told him she didn't have any drugs and made him leave. He then kicked in the door, started punching her and threatened to shoot her.

Daniels was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief, Criminal Trespass and Harassment.
