Utica Man Sentenced In Death Of His Girlfriend

The Utica man who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the murder of his girlfriend was sentenced on Monday in Oneida County Court.

32-year old Brian Brewczynski was charged in the beating death of 49-year old Cheri Saupp.

Saupp was found was found dead inside a home on William Street in Utica in May.

She died from head injuries.

Brewczynski was sentenced to 22 ½ years in state prison, with 5 years of post-release supervision.
