Utica Police Arrest Nine On Varick Street

Utica Police arrested nine people early this morning on Varick Street following Saranac Thursday.

Police say most of the arrests made were the result of fights breaking out, while one person was arrested for exposure.

Charges included disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment.

The following individuals were arrested

• Joel Melendez, (age 22, of Utica) arrested for disorderly conduct,

• Anthony Anna (age 21, of Holland Patent)- arrested for disorderly conduct,

• Lorenzo Jones (age 40, of Utica)- arrested for driving with a suspended driver's license, possession of marijuana and other vehicle and traffic charges.

• Misael Soto (age 22, of Utica)- arrested for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment in the 2nd degree.

• John Rivera (age 21 of Utica)- arrested for exposure of a person.

• Marcus Smith (age 22, of Utica)- arrested on an active warrant of arrest.

• Joman Villaneya (age 23, of Utica)- arrested for disorderly conduct.

• Angelo Donato (age 26, of Utica)- arrested for disorderly conduct.

• Brandon Teuschen (age 31, of Herkimer)- arrested for disorderly conducted.
