The Utica Police Department will be hosting a Citizens' Academy in 2016 and they're looking for participants.

The UPD will host up to 15 people during the session, which will run from January 11th to March 7th.

Citizens will get to hear from the members of the department and learn how the agency operates.  Participants will also take part in live demonstrations and experience some "hands-on" practical exercises.

If you're interested, complete the application on the Utica Police Department's website and submit it by the November 30th deadline.
