Utica Police Investigate Monday Night Shooting On Elizabeth Street

A man is in critical, but stable condition this morning at a local hospital following a Monday night shooting.

Utica Police say, units were dispatched to the 900 block of Elizabeth Street just before 9 p.m. and upon arrival discovered a male who had been shot multiple times in the upper body.

The man was conscious and breathing when first responders arrived and he was taken by UFD to a local hospital.

The incident is still being investigated and officers are still looing for any new information from the public.
