Utica Police Investigating Attempted Armed Robbery

Utica Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that took place over the weekend.

Police say a man entered Karl's Market on Sunset Avenue at around 8:00 on Saturday night , pointed a long-barrel weapon at the store employees and demanded money.

The man left after the employees had trouble opening the cash register.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the UPD at 223-3510.
