Utica Police Investigating Shooting On Mohawk Street

Utica Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Saturday on the 800 block of Mohawk Street.

Upon arrival, offices discovered an injured male who had been shot in the upper back.

An investigation revealed that a fight broke out prior to the shooting, and while the group was dispersing an individual began firing.

The victim was treated at the scene by Utica Fire and transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
