Utica Police Make An Arrest Following Bleecker Street Shooting

The Utica Police Department has taken another illegal gun off the streets.

Officials say, units were dispatched to an address on Bleecker Street regarding a shots fired incident.

Upon arrival, officers located several spent shell casings in the surrounding area.

A description of the shooter was developed and it was learned he was located nearby.

39-year-old Marquis Williams was identified and placed under arrest.

He's facing several weapons charges and police say, surveillance video shows Williams allegedly firing his weapon in the roadway.
