Utica Police Make Arrest In Conkling Ave Shooting

Utica Police have made an arrest in a Monday morning shooting that took place on the 1500 hundred block of Conkling Avenue.

44-year old Durrell Dow is charged with attempted murder, robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm.  Police say more charges may be filed.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his thigh.  He was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting prompted the Utica School District to put schools on lockout.
