Power outages in the wake of Tuesday's storms have been repaired for most of Oneida County but some are waking up for a second straight morning in the dark.

According to National Grid's web site, more than 1,200 homes and businesses in the Rome area are still without power.

Meanwhile, there are about 250 in the dark in the Utica and New York Mills areas.

National Grid's web site estimates the power won't be restored for those remaining outages until around 6:00 Friday evening.
