Utica Teacher Accused Of Stealing Necklace From Student

A Utica School District employee has been arrested for allegedly stealing a gold chain from the neck of a 5-year old student.

Utica Police have charged 33-year old Crystal DeRosa of Utica with grand larceny.

Police say the incident happened in October at Columbus Elementary School, were DeRosa is a teacher.
