Utica Teen Charged In Home Invasion Robbery

A Utica teen is facing charges in a home-invasion style robbery.

The incident happened on Monday afternoon at a house on the 1500 block of Steuben Street.

Utica Police say 17-year old Randiese White allegedly entered a second-floor residence armed with a handgun and demanded cash and property from the victim.

Police say after taking the property, a brief struggle ensued and White fled the scene.

White was arrested and charged with burglary and robbery, both felonies.
