Utica, NY (WIBX) - The man behind the wheel in Sunday's fatal crash in Utica faces a new charge of vehicular manslaughter.

William Daniels, of Virginia, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Utica City Court today.

Daniels was previously charged with DWI in the Easter Sunday accident that resulted in the death of 50-year-old Nurko Bakaran of Utica. Bakaran's wife, Dula, remains hospitalized, according to Sergeant Steven Hauck of the Utica Police Department.
