Water Main Repairs on French Road and Lomond Place in South Utica [PHOTOS] [VIDEO]

UPDATE: 07/11/2015 7:28pm  The MVWA is still not reporting any disruptions in service or boil water advisories.

UPDATE: 07/11/2015 5:10pm  French Road has been reopened.

Original Story:

A possible water main break and tipped hydrant on French Road is forcing temporary closure of the street while repair crews fix the water main.

The water main affected is on French Road and Lomond Place.

French Road is closed from Gilmore Place to Thieme Place but is expected to reopen soon.

The Mohawk Valley Water Authority and Utica Police are on the scene.

At this time no boil water advisory has been issued for South Utica.  However, crews say that is a possibility.
