A future NFL player is making a lot of headlines even before hitting the field as a player for the first time.

This week Michael Sam was drafted by the Saint Louis Rams.  Sam's reaction to the call identifying him as the 249th draft pick was caught on camera, as was the kiss he gave to his partner.

Sam is the first openly gay player to be drafted by the NFL.  Public reaction to the kiss was mixed.  At least one of Sam's new colleagues tweeted disapprovingly of the kiss, and has subsequently been reprimanded.

What do you think?  Is America ready for men kissing in the NFL?  Were you offended by the kiss or is everyone making a big deal about nothing?
