While it's been reported that E.J. Manuel will start under center for the Buffalo Bills this weekend, head coach Rex Ryan says that news didn't come from him.

In fact, Ryan said 'That's news to me', while addressing the media on Wednesday, adding it 'may or not be the case.' Tyrod Taylor has was is believed to be a strained MCL in his knee, but Ryan, at least publicly, is holding out hope that his Taylor can play when the Bills host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday (1:00).

Due to the injury, though, Manuel took the lead role in practice with the team this week.

Also, WR Sammy Watkins and RB LeSean McCoy were both limited in practice on Wednesday. They're listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
