Woman, 23, Dies In Head-On Crash With School Bus

ADDISON, N.Y. (AP) — State police say a 23-year-old woman has died after the car she was driving collided head-on with a school bus in southwestern New York.

Troopers identify the victim as Kayanna Lehman of Addison. She was heading east on state Route 417 in Addison around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday when she swerved into the westbound lane and hit an Addison school bus.

There were 10 students on the bus but no one was injured.

Route 417 was closed for several hours after the accident. The investigation is continuing.

Addison is in Steuben County 68 miles west of Binghamton.
