Woman Charged With Promoting Prison Contraband

A woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs into the Mid State Correctional Facility in Marcy.

State Police say Tajmanera McDonald of Brooklyn was found with Suboxone and synthetic marijuana during a visit to the prison.

McDonald is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband.
