NEW YORK (AP) — Sexual assault survivors and other women sat on the sidewalk outside Trump Tower during a Manhattan protest.

Organizers say the protest Tuesday, which also emphasized the concerns of immigrants and women of color, was one of a series being held nationwide.

About 200 women, dressed in black, participated in the half-hour protest. Most of them sat on the sidewalk. Police stood by but did not intervene.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump lives in Trump Tower and runs his campaign there. He was scheduled for appearances in Colorado on Tuesday. A spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a comment request.
