Yorkville Police Investigating Vehicle Larcenies

The Yorkville Police Department is investigating a series of vehicle larcenies throughout the Village.

Police say the majority of the crimes appear to be occurring overnight and nearly all the vehicles targeted have been cars with vehicle doors left unlocked.

They're urging residents to lock their vehicle doors and to remove any items of value.
