Herbowy Suspended By Municipal Housing Authority

Municipal Housing Authority Executive Director, Taras Herbowy, has been suspended by the Board of Commissioners with pay.

The suspension took place earlier today, when the Board voted unanimously to take action.

Last week, Herbowy was involved in an altercation with Chairman Dave Williams, resulting in harassment charges. A connection between the incident and the suspension has not yet been confirmed.

Herbowy was also involved in another incident last summer, when he confronted then Congressional candidate, Dan Lamb in front of the Municipal Housing Authority building.

An MHA Commissioner would not comment on the suspension or whether it was related to last week's incident. They could only confirm that Herbowy was suspended with pay.
