1 Dead, 2 Injured In Head-On Collision In Western NY
CATTARAUGUS INDIAN RESERVATION, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a woman is dead and two other people were injured following a head-on collision in western New York.
Erie County sheriff's deputies say the crash happened on Route 5 on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation just before 9 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities say a woman was flown to a hospital, where she later died.
Two other people were taken to a hospital. It's unclear what their conditions are.
Authorities didn't immediately identify the victims.
The crash remains under investigation.
The reservation is located about 25 miles south of Buffalo.
