Once again, we've teamed up with the American Heart Association of Central New York for their "Go Red for Women" campaign. Coming up in May is the big event, the Go Red for Women Luncheon in New Hartford.

Join us for an afternoon of survivor stories, heart disease and heart attack information, and awareness on women's health at the 2017 "Go Red for Women" luncheon on Wednesday, May 3rd. The luncheon will be held at Daniele's Banquet Specialists on Route 5 in New Hartford, and will go from noon to 1pm.

This is a very special luncheon as we come together to bring awareness to something that causes one-in-three deaths in women every single year. Heart attack and disease has always been thought of as a "man's disease," but that's not the case. The "Go Red for Women" campaign looks to end that rumor, and help women get information on heart health and realize the warning signs before it's too late.

Our own Naomi Lynn from the Lite 98.7 Morning Show will be emceeing the event. The luncheon will recognize this year's "Go Red for Women Survivor Class," and a passion speaker will share her amazing story as a heart transplant survivor. And of course there will be a heart-healthy lunch to enjoy while the event is going on.

Tickets for this luncheon are available now, but registration closes Sunday, April 30th (or when they sell out). Get your tickets and/or make a donation by visiting their website: American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Luncheon - CNY

Let's bring awareness to an important cause in women's health. We hope to see you at this year's luncheon.
