Loudonville, NY (WIBX) - Americans believe that the country has more problems than it did a year ago.

According to a new poll by the Siena Research Institute forty-four percent of Americans say that the United States has more problems than it did four years ago.  The new figures may not affect their voting choices, however, at least in New York State, as President Obama has a 24-point lead over presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
