If you have an outstanding parking ticket in the city of Utica, you'll be getting a break if you pay up.

Mayor Robert Palmieri says from March 2nd to March 16th, the city will grant amnesty of late fees on parking tickets and will accept the original fine.  The amnesty period covers tickets issued since January 1st of 2009.

A boot ticket carries a fine of $150 and cannot be reduced.

All payments must be made in person at City Hall or mailed to the parking ticket office.

The city has instituted the amnesty program several times in the past.
