A ribbon cutting was held today at the brand new Gateway Terminal at Griffiss International Airport in Rome.

Construction on the new $7.5 million terminal began in June of last year.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente says today marks an important step in the evolution of the airport from a shuttered air force base to an international hub of technology, aviation and innovation.
