Another candidate has joined the race for a seat on the Utica City School Board.

Braedon Nanna announced Thursday that he's running for the position with a campaign focused on accountability and financial responsibility.

Nanna says, he will work to ensure that cost is not a barrier to a quality education for any student.

His priorities include decreasing class sizes, updating text books, and increasing funding for classroom supplies and extra-curricular activities.

The Utica School Board election will be held on Tuesday, May 21st from Noon to 9 p.m.
