Arizona’s Darnell Dockett Tries To Pick Up Bama QB’s Girlfriend On Twitter

Miami, FL (WIBX) - When he's not flattening out quarterbacks, Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett might be busy trying to pick up your girlfriend.

According to NFL.com, the hard hitting player sent out what he thought was a direct message to Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron's girlfriend, Katherine Webb. In the tweet, Dockett asks Webb to go with him to "King of Diamonds," a gentlemen's club in Miami.

He later sent Webb his phone number and a request to grab some wings, but forgot to send it as a direct message.

Now we've all made the mistake of sending an unwanted tweet out to the world, but to pick up another man's girlfriend takes it to a whole new level. The fallout form his misguided pickup line can still be seen on his page in the classic line, "$&#! that was suppose to be DM!"

The pickup line didn't seem to bother McCarron, though, whose team dismantled the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a 42-14 rout.
