Arrest Made In June 2017 Motorcycle-Pedestrian Accident
After a nearly year-long investigation into a motorcycle-pedestrian accident, New Hartford Police have arrested a Sauquoit man.
21-year old Jacob Bullard is facing several charges including speeding and assault.
Police say Bullard lost control of his motorcycle at the intersection of Mohawk Street and Sessions Road in New Hartford on June 28th of last year.
They say Bullard struck a woman who was walking her two dogs along the road.
47-year old Dayle Turczyn of New Hartford suffered serious, life-threatening injuries. She was hospitalized for several months and is still recovering at home.
The crash also killed one of Turczyn's dogs.
