Authorities say two Broome County teenage sisters have been missing for 280 days.

State police last May announced investigators were trying to locate 13-year-old Shaeleen Fitch-Fortner and 15-year-old Ky-Lea Fortner.

At that time, officials said the sisters had been living with a foster family on Stevens Road in the Town of Binghamton.

Additional photos of the missing girls were posted on the state police Facebook page Monday afternoon.

The girls were last seen on April 27 waiting to get on a bus after classes at their Susquehanna Valley school.

Police say Shaeleen was described as about five feet, two inches tall with a thin build. She had short dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Ky-Lea was described as about five feet, six inches tall with a thin build. She had medium red hair, blue eyes and a lip piercing.

People with information about the missing girls may contact state police at 607.775.1241.
