The Mohawk Valley Water Authority says due to unforeseen circumstances during a scheduled repair, a Boil Water Advisory has been issued for part of the Town of Marcy.

The affected area includes Irish Road and Fox Road from Route 291 to Ives Road.

MVWA officials say the Boil Water Advisory will be in affect for 48 hours until lab testing confirms it can be lifted.
