Boil Water Advisory Issued For Portion Of Genesee Street In Utica

The Mohawk Valley Water Authority says a water main break on Genesee Street and Amy Avenue in south Utica has led to a Boil Water Advisory for customers from 2212 Genesee north to Keynon Court.

Customers are advised to boil their water for two minutes before using it for drinking or cooking.

The advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours or until tests show the water is free from contamination.
