Boscov’s Chairman Dead at the Age of 87
The chairman of the newest Department Store in Central New York has died at the age of 87.
Albert Boscov was the son of Solomon Boscov who opened the store's first location in 1911. It was in 1950 that Albert took over the operations of the Department Store giant.
The company opened their New Hartford location in October of 2016.
According to PennLive.com, Boscov died of Pancreatic Cancer.
