Brindisi Hosts Veterans Resource Fair

Congressman Anthony Brindisi hosted a Veterans Resource Fair at Herkimer College on Monday.

The event was held to connect upstate New York veterans with employers, government agencies and more.

“This event is about connecting Veterans and their families with resources and support they have earned – whether that’s help navigating the VA, access to jobs, or housing resources,” Brindisi said. “Our team is trained to help any Veteran who is struggling get the support and resources he or she needs – we want everyone to use our office as a resource. I promise we will always do everything we can to help solve your problem.”

More than 30 organizations were on hand, including Feed Our Vets, the Small Business Administration, Syracuse Vets Center and the Rome VA Clinic.

Brindisi also met with his Veterans Advisory Council to receive feedback on the current state of the VA.

Brindisi is a member of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs.
