Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi has been named to the New York Farm Bureau's 2017 "Circle of Friends."

The Farm Bureau says Brindisi and other legislators who received the honor were chosen for their voting record on important agricultural issues.

They were also recognized for other legislative support, including support of bills among the Farm Bureau's priorities in 2017.

“Farmers are absolutely vital to the economic well-being of our state.  Agriculture is among the Mohawk Valley and upstate New York’s most important industries, providing quality, wholesome foods for our families, and employment for many state residents.  I will continue working with the Farm Bureau to ensure that future generations can continue to support us with quality products, and support their families economically,”  Brindisi said.
