Brother and Sister Arrested After Fleeing Police in McGraw
A Brother and sister are accused of trying to get away from Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies following a traffic stop in the Village of McGraw.
Authorities say 29 year old Robert Milliron of MGraw and 31 year old Sara Milliron of Clinton ran after being pulled over for speeding on Main Street at 11:33 a.m. October 21.
Deputies say Robert Milliron, who had been driving, dashed through a back alley, hid and even reportedly changed his clothes in an attempt to avoid capture.
Milliron’s sister fled to a nearby apartment building in attempt to avoid arrest for drug possession.
Both are charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
Robert is also charged with speeding and driving without a license.
Sara is additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a hypodermic instrument.
Both were sent to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 bail.
