
Burnt Toast Leads To Evacuation Of Oneida County Office Building
Burning toast led to the evacuation of the Oneida County Office Building this morning.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says a fire alarm on the 5th floor was activated and the building was evacuated just before 10:00.
The Sheriff's Office says burnt toast from the County Clerk's Office had set off the fire alarm.
The Utica Fire Department responded and determined the building was safe for re-entry.
There were no injuries reported.
