Digging is beginning at the site of a collapsed cabin in an Oswego County town that may have a connection in the disappearance of a woman who has been missing for more than ten years.

Heidi Allen has been missing since April 3, 1994.  In a recent series of reports by Syracuse.com new information has come to light that seems to support the claims of innocence made by Gary Thibodeau.  Thibodeau has been in prison for twenty years for the alleged abduction and presumed murder of Allen.  He is serving a sentence to twenty-five years to life.

Yesterday New York State Police brought cadaver dogs to the area in the town of Mexico, New York.  Although they are not releasing any more information, the Oswego County District Attorney's Office has confirmed that they are focusing on the area under the cabin and the surrounding woods.
