Camden Man Recovering After Being Hit By Vehicle In Verona
A Camden man is recovering from non-life threatening injuries following a car-pedestrian accident in the Town of Verona.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the scene Sunday evening just after 6:30 p.m. on Beacon Light Road.
An investigation revealed, 48-year-old Russell Wilczak of Rome was driving his Jeep northbound when his vehicle struck 51-year-old Darren Bretscher of Camden who was walking southbound.
Bretscher was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the accident is still being investigated.
