Canal Corporation Begins Lock Repairs Throughout The State

New York State Canal Corporation crews were at Erie Canal Lock 19 in Schuyler on Wednesday.

The Canal Corporation is conducting repairs on locks recently pumped out throughout the canal system.

The winter months are one of the busiest times of the year for the Canal Corporation as locks undergo extensive maintenance and upgrades to avoid disruptions of boats during the navigation season.
