Cassville Man Behind Bars For Sending Ex-Wife Over One Hundred Text Messages

A Cassville man is behind bars after allegedly violating a court order by harassing his ex-wife.

New Hartford Police say, 29-year-old Nathan Ames called his ex-wfie over forty five times and sent her over one hundred text messages.

In doing so, Ames violated a court issued order of protection barring him from having any contact with the victim.

As a result of the incident, Ames is facing several charges including Misdemeanor Aggravated Harassment and Felony Criminal Contempt.

Ames is awaiting his next court date in Oneida County Jail.
