Officials with the New York State American Legion Baseball Tournament at Murnane Field in Utica have had alter the tourney's format because of the weather.

Rain delayed the completion of the final game of Wednesday's action, then washed out all games on Thursday, prompting a change from round-robin-style to a double elimination format.

Also, the decision was made that, starting with Friday's action, the games were shortened from nine innings to seven.
