Clay Matthews Gets Another Awful Roughing Penalty While Sacking Alex Smith
I didn't think it could get any worse after the penalty last week on Clay Matthews that cost the Green Bay Packers a win in Week 2.
But, in Week 3, Clay Matthews was hit with another - in my opinion - awful Roughing the Passer penalty during a sack of Alex Smith and the Washington Redskins.
Again, from the Official's viewpoint and based wording of the leagues new Roughing the Passer definition, the issue was Matthews falling onto the QB. Again, I ask: How else can you tackle someone?
