Colgate Advances In ECAC Playoffs

Darcy Murphy had a hat trick and Joe Wilson added a goal and the Colgate Raiders held on to the beat the St. Lawrence Saints, 4-3 on Saturday night at Starr Rink in Quarterfinals of the ECAC Playoffs.

Colgate won the best-of-three series 2 games to none.

The 17th-ranked Raiders (19-12-5) advance to Lake Placid where they'll take on Quinnipiac in the semi-finals on Friday.

Colgate and Quinnipiac will face off in the the second-semi final at 7:30.

Cornell and Union will meet in the first game at 2:00.

The championship game will take place on Saturday night at 7:30.

The winner gets an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey Tournament.
