Community Garden “Planting It Forward” For 15K

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A local community garden is asking for your help getting a $15,000 grant.

The Cornerstone Community Church wants you to "plant it forward," and go to their Facebook page and click on the "Gardens for Good" link. Their organic community garden is used to feed neighborhood children.

The Utica-based group is located, ironically, on Plant Street, and is currently in fourth place for the nationwide contest. They have until tomorrow at 3:00pm to have all votes in before the contest closes.
