Coronavirus Death Reported In Herkimer County

Herkimer County Public Health is announcing the County’s first coronavirus-related death.

Officials say the victim was an 85-year old resident with underlying health conditions.

There have been seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Herkimer County.

49 people have tested negative for the virus in the county.

17 residents are under mandatory quarantine and 58 are under precautionary quarantine.
