Country Singer Craig Strickland Still Missing After Oklahoma Hunting Trip

A country singer is still missing, days after the body of his friend and hunting partner was found earlier this week.

Morland's body was found on Monday, along with Strickland's dog Sam, who was still alive and waiting alongside the 22-year-old's body.

As of this posting law enforcement authorities are reporting no new leads in the case.

CNN reports that the two were "duck hunting at Oklahoma's Kaw Lake on Sunday," when Strickland's boat apparently overturned.

In a December 29, 2015 article for People Magazine Melody Chiu reports that Strickland and Morland "...first met around seven years ago and quickly bonded over their love for hunting and fishing."
