It's Broadway vs. Hollywood for the NHL championship this year.

The Governors of California and New York are planning to make the upcoming NHL Stanley Cup Finals interesting.

California Governor Jerry Brown and Governor Andrew Cuomo are making an interstate wager on the outcome of the series.

If the L.A. Kings win, Brown will send Cuomo a copy of Kevin Starr's 'California: A History' and some Lumberg Organic Brown Rice Cakes.

If the New York Rangers end up hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup, Cuomo will send Brown a commemorative Hockey puck and a Taste New York gift basket featuring products from across the Empire State.

The Taste NY basket will include Oneida County's own Sammy and Annie Food's Chicken Riggie pasta sauce starter.

The first game of the Stanley Cup Finals begins Wednesday June 4th at 8:00 in Los Angeles.
