Governor Andrew Cuomo will not be stopping in Utica on Friday after all.

Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi says the governor will remain in Albany to focus on state budget negotiations.  The budget is due April 1st.

Brindisi says Cuomo plans to visit the area sometime after the budget is passed.

Cuomo was scheduled to appear at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute tomorrow morning, where he was expected to make an announcement regarding jobs at the Marcy Nano site.

The governor had originally planed to visit the area on Thursday.
